Happy Friday!
When I first created the accompanying story scrolls (based on an adaptation of a technique by “Cycle the Cycle” by
) for Primal Threads, it was done to bring the stories to life, and I believe they have helped in that endeavor a great deal, but they do tend to slow down how many drabbles I can get through. Yet, now, after creating 17, I have come to also appreciate them as an additional creative filter. It slows me down; it forces me to see things in a new light. I hope it improves the art.I still can’t believe, after all is said and done, I plan to use the drabbles and the story scrolls to write a traditional novella. The power of three.
I’m on a quest, and only time will tell if I’m in the footsteps of Dante or Don Quixote.
It doesn’t matter though; I’m challenging myself and having a lot of fun along the way. I’ve heard the 14th Dalai Lama say that humans are connected by our suffering, and this week we looked at the idea of “desire.” It is said that God does not desire. For humans, the opposite of privation is possession. So, one might reason that God does not feel privation nor feel satiated by possession. And it is taught within Christianity and argued in the Great Books that God is love, desire is acquisitive, love is generosity.
It can be reasoned and understood through faith, that AI and Angels and Demons come preloaded with information (initially), and though similar, they are different based on their proximity to God: one through God’s breath, the other through human’s blessings in creativity. Humans and God think differently: humans think through discourse (discursively), and God… only knows.
Is the idea of “desire” its own element?
Do ideas exist before gods and God?
I hope there are “real” and not only “apparent” definitions to Great Ideas like “desire.” It might be a strong argument for ether over void, and if it HAS all been done though love, it sure is a generous invitation that even in fragmentation, there is a way back.
desire Becomes APATHY

“Desire or despair, philosopher?”
Hutch laughed and sat back in his chair. “But there are so many kinds.”
OUTPUT: Dynamics of Desire Die in Apathy and Defeat.
The speaker looped: Abstinence of Action is Not Love to Keep Pleasure, Power, Wealth in a Tendency of Proper Place.
Lucri turned his head toward Passim but spoke to Hutch. “Interesting how AI hallucinates when its desires are stumped… Ain’t that how it goes? ALL desire BUT God.”
“Good, bad, what do you want?”
“Good. I want good. I’ll tell you more someday, know this, not everything I break, I hate. Get in.”
